I have seen discussions here about it, but as far as I'm concerned, any failure of the iPod Support Service is a bug, not a feature.Ĭan I suggest that you look on the optimistic side and go ahead with the latest version of iTunes when your new computer arrives, in the expectation that everything will work as it's supposed to? If you do experience problems, start new discussion describing the symptoms you are experiencing, not what you think the problem is. I have used (and updated) iTunes for many years and I have never had a missing iPod Support Service message or found a need to download and install any additional files (and yes, I do use iPods). You make it sound as though Apple have deliberately offered (for download) an incomplete version of iTunes. That they would release it like that - obviously for some reason. What's new in this version: Important bug fixes and feature enhancements.I'm just a little miffed about the latest version on their website. WindowManager is a windows tool that can remember the exact dimensions and position of every application window. Removes the need for a virtual screen on larger displays. Can adjust the position and size of application windows when they open up.Remembers the window size and exact position of every application.Get the window size correct and it's position too. While some programs do not remember their last open position, WindowsManager certainly does. This app can be seen as either an alternative to a virtual desktop with multiple screens or as an addition to it. Rather than wasting time moving all the windows into exactly the position that is desirable, let this application remember all the positions for you and then create the desktop just how you would like it. WindowManager is a useful little utility that can remember where all the windows positions were the last time they was used.
